Section 278A:14 - Notification to victim of crime(a) If a motion is filed under section 278A:3, the prosecuting attorney shall notify the victim of the crime in the underlying case. (b) The prosecuting attorney shall notify the victim if the court allows a motion for forensic or scientific analysis and, if the victim is notified of the allowance of the motion, shall promptly notify the victim of the result of the analysis.
