Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 207 § 51

Section 207:51 - Violation of certain provisions of this chapter

Violations of any provision of section 7 or 26 shall, upon complaint made within one year thereafter, be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
