Section 176B:4X - Coverage for patient care services provided under qualified clinical trials

Any subscription certificate under an individual or group medical service agreement delivered, issued or renewed within the commonwealth shall provide for the coverage of patient care services furnished pursuant to qualified clinical trials as defined in, and subject to the requirements and limitations of, section 110L of chapter 175.

Acts 2002, c. 257, § 5, provides: "This act shall apply to all policies, contracts, agreements, plans or certificates of insurance issued or delivered within commonwealth on or after January 1, 2003, and to all policies, contracts, agreements, plans or certificates of insurance in effect before January 1, 2003 upon renewal on or after January 1, 2003."
