Section 48:74 - Board of engineers; powers and duties relating to promulgation of rules and regulations and appointment of personnel

The board of engineers may make and publish rules and regulations as provided in case of fire departments by sections fifty-three and fifty-four. It may appoint and remove enginemen, hosemen and hook and ladder men, and fill vacancies in the companies.
