Section 6:15TTTTTT - [Multiple Versions] Moyamoya Awareness Day

The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart May 6 as Moyamoya Awareness Day to raise awareness of the occurrence of this rare neurovascular condition seen in children and adults in which the walls of the internal carotid arteries become thickened and narrowed resulting in reduced blood flow and an increased risk of transient ischemic attacks and strokes and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
