Section 6:15NNNNNN - Negro Election Day

The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the third Saturday in July as Negro Election Day in commemoration of the adoption of the first black voting system in 1740 and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
