Section 22E:14 - Tampering with DNA sample or DNA record; penalty

Any person who tampers with or attempts to tamper with a DNA sample or DNA record with the intent to interfere with DNA analysis shall be subject to punishment by a fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment in the state prison for not more than five years or in a jail or house of correction for not more than two and a half years or both such fine and imprisonment.
