Section 316.1995 - Driving upon sidewalk or bicycle path(1) Except as provided in s. 316.008, s. 316.20655, s. 316.212(8), or s. 316.2128, a person may not drive any vehicle other than by human power upon a bicycle path, sidewalk, or sidewalk area, except upon a permanent or duly authorized temporary driveway.(2) A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a moving violation as provided in chapter 318.(3) This section does not apply to motorized wheelchairs.s. 1, ch. 71-135; s. 1, ch. 76-31; s. 6, ch. 83-68; s. 3, ch. 84-284; s.150, ch. 99-248; s.45, ch. 2010-223; s.2, ch. 2019-109; s.6, ch. 2020-69.Amended by 2020 Fla.
