Section 1009.01 - DefinitionsThe term:
(1) "Tuition" means the basic fee charged to a student for instruction provided by a public postsecondary educational institution in this state. A charge for any other purpose shall not be included within this fee.(2) "Out-of-state fee" means the additional fee for instruction provided by a public postsecondary educational institution in this state, which fee is charged to a student who does not qualify for the in-state tuition rate pursuant to s. 1009.21. A charge for any other purpose shall not be included within this fee.(3) "Tuition differential" means the supplemental fee charged to a student by a public university in this state pursuant to s. 1009.24(16).s.398, ch. 2002-387; s.131, ch. 2007-217; s.1, ch. 2007-225; s.188, ch. 2008-4; s.2, ch. 2009-98.
