Section 50-2638 - Boot removal penalty(a) Any person who damages, destroys, or removes a vehicle boot without authorization of the Mayor shall be subject to a civil fine of at least $750.(b) The Mayor, pursuant to Title I of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, Approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1204; D.C.
