Section 2-1831.03a - [Not funded.] Housing code violation hearings.(a) A housing provider shall have 10 days from the receipt of any notice of infraction or notice of violation for a housing code violation to request a hearing before the Office.(b)(1) The Office shall schedule a hearing not more than 30 days after the receipt of a request for a hearing.(2) The Office may grant a request for continuance, but only on an affirmative showing of good cause; provided, that the hearing may not be postponed more than 30 days after the date the hearing originally was scheduled.(c) The Office shall issue a final order not more than 30 days after the date of the hearing.Mar. 6, 2002, D.C. Applicability of D.C. Law 22-287: § 8 of D.C. Law 22-287 provided that the creation of this section by § 2 of D.C. Law 22-287 is subject to the inclusion of the law's fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
