Section 529 - Coverage for insulin pumps(a) For purposes of this section, "insulin pump" means a small, portable medical device that is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to provide continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion.(b) Carriers shall provide coverage for a medically necessary insulin pump at no cost in all health benefit plans delivered or issued for delivery under § 505(3) of this title.Added by Laws 2021, ch. 241,s 4, eff. 10/14/2021.
