Section 135 - Services to public water systems(a) The Department will provide services to public water as follows: (1) Analyze drinking water for chemical and microbiological content.(2) Inspect public water systems.(3) Review plans for new systems and major improvements to existing systems.(4) Provide technical assistance to public water system as needed.(5) Provide a program to approve the qualifications and competency of laboratories conducting chemical and microbiological testing of potable water.(6) Provide a program to approve the qualifications and competence of potable water distribution and treatment plant operators in charge of operating public water systems.(b) The Department of Health and Social Services shall initiate the following fees for the above services.
