Section 1908 - Temporary assignment of Judges to statutory courts(a) In case of need, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, or in case of the Chief Justice's absence from the State or incapacity, the Senior Justice of the Supreme Court, present in the State and capable of acting, may designate one or more of the state judges, including the Justices of the Supreme Court and the Judges of the Superior Chancery and Common Pleas Court, to sit in any court of this State not created by the Constitution. (b) The state judge designated pursuant to subsection (a) of this section shall serve as a judge of the court designated and shall hear and determine such causes in such court and for such period of time as shall be designated.10 Del.
