Section 97-YYY - [Multiple versions; Repealed Effective 6/30/2027] Children and family services quality enhancement fund1. There is hereby established in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of taxation and finance a special revenue fund to be known as the children and family services quality enhancement fund.2. The children and family services quality enhancement fund shall consist of moneys received by the state pursuant to subdivision ten of section one hundred fifty-three-k of the social services law and subdivision six of section three hundred eighty-seven of the social services law, moneys donated or given to the state, and all other moneys appropriated, credited or transferred thereto from any other fund or source.3. Moneys of the children and family services quality enhancement fund, following appropriation by the legislature and allocation by the director of the budget, shall be made available to the commissioner of the office of children and family services for activities to increase the availability and/or quality of children and family services programs which may include, but not be limited to, staff recruitment, retention and training activities, research projects and targeted services expansion and/or demonstration projects to test innovative models for service delivery including such areas as health, mental health and substance abuse services.4. The office of children and family services shall submit a report to the governor and the legislature by January thirty-first, two thousand three and annually thereafter detailing all expenditures made from the children and family services quality enhancement fund during the previous year, the status of any research projects and demonstration projects funded by the quality enhancement fund, and the office's priorities for allocating funds from the quality enhancement fund for the current year.N.Y.
