Section 523 - [Effective on the first Monday after 10/1/2024 or 30 days after the commissioner of labor certifies that the department of labor has an information technology system capable of accommodating the amendments in chapter 277 of 2021, whichever occurs earlier (see 2024 Ch. 56 Pt. Z-§1 for further provisions)] Effective week

"Effective week" means

(a) a week during which a claimant performs no services for which the claimant is paid compensation, or
(b) a week during which a claimant performs services on a part-time basis for which the claimant is paid compensation that is less than the claimant's weekly benefit rate plus his or her partial benefit credit.
