Section 74 - Application for dispensation1.Employers in defense work may make applications for dispensation pursuant to this article in such manner and upon such forms as the commissioner of labor shall prescribe. Each application shall be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of forty dollars payable to the commissioner. The commissioner of labor may, after hearing upon due notice, revoke dispensations not necessary to maintain maximum possible production in defense work.2.Where immediate dispensation is necessary in order to prevent interference with maximum possible production in defense work, the commissioner of labor may grant such dispensation provisionally for a period not to exceed one month.
