Section 8-81-103 - Representation in court(1) In any civil action to enforce the provisions of articles 70 to 82 of this title, the division and the state shall be represented by the attorney general. Such assistant attorneys general shall be appointed as are necessary for this purpose.(2) All criminal actions for violation of any provision of articles 70 to 82 of this title, or of any rules issued pursuant to those articles, must be prosecuted by the attorney general of the state or, at his or her request and under his or her direction, by the district attorney of the judicial district in which the employer has a place of business or the violator resides.Amended by 2016 Ch. 94,§ 5, eff. 8/10/2016.L. 36, 3rd Ex.
