As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1) "Department" means the department of labor and employment created in section 24-1-121, C.R.S.(2) "Person with a disability" means a person who has a physical or mental impairment that constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment, and who can benefit in terms of an employment outcome from the provision of vocational rehabilitation services.(3) "Vocational rehabilitation services" means those services described in section 103 of the federal "Rehabilitation Act of 1973", Public Law 93-112, as amended.Amended and relocated from former section 26-8-105(2) by 2015 Ch. 160, § 2, eff. 7/1/2016.Amended by 2015 Ch. 58, § 2, eff. 3/30/2015.L. 2015: Entire section added with relocations, (SB 15-239), ch. 160, p. 478, § 2, effective 7/1/2016.Subsection (2) was originally numbered as § 26-8-105 (2), and the amendments to it by House Bill 15-1188 were further amended by Senate Bill 15-239 and relocated to subsection (2) of this section, effective July 1, 2016.
