Section 37-43-188 - County may sell by quitclaim deed - repeal
(1) At any time the county may sell by quitclaim deed any such land so acquired for the best price obtainable in the opinion of the board, which price is to be fixed by the board of county commissioners; and the purchase price, as well as the net amount realized as rental on such lands, shall be applied upon and apportioned to the payment of taxes for state, county, and school district purposes in proportion to the amount due at the time said tax deed is executed and delivered.
(2) This section is repealed, effective July 1, 2024.
