Section 33-6-129 - Damage to property or habitat under division control(1) It is unlawful for any person to remove, damage, deface, or destroy any real or personal property or wildlife habitat under the control of the division. Any person who violates this subsection (1) commits a class 2 misdemeanor. In addition, the court may require the defendant to reimburse the division for any damages.(2) It is unlawful for a person to use division property in violation of any commission rule. (2) Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.
