Section 31-2-211 - Elections - general(1) Except as otherwise specifically provided, all elections held pursuant to this part 2 shall be conducted as nearly as practicable in conformity with the provisions of the "Colorado Municipal Election Code of 1965".(2) All necessary expenses for elections conducted pursuant to this part 2 for existing municipalities or for municipalities incorporated pursuant to part 1 of this article shall be paid out of the treasury of the municipality.(3) A special election shall be called for any election held pursuant to this part 2 when a regular election is not scheduled within the time period provided for such election.L. 75: Entire title R&RE, p. 1017, § 1, effective July 1.This section is similar to former § 31-2-111 as it existed prior to 1975.
