Section 24-33.5-1206.5 - Unlawful acts - criminal penalties
(1) Any person who violates any of the provisions of section 24-33.5-1206.1 commits a petty offense and, if a natural person, shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-503, and, if a corporation, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars.
(2) Any person who knowingly and willfully makes any false statement whatsoever or who conceals a material fact in any application, form, claim, advertisement, contract, warranty, guarantee, or statement, either written or oral, with the intent to influence the actions or decisions of any owner or contractor negotiating or contracting for the installation, alteration, or repair of any fire suppression system, or to any bonding agent, commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.

(1) Section 24-33.5-1209(2) provides for the repeal of this section, effective September 1, 2026.

(2) Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.
