Section 24-4.1-116 - Subrogation

The acceptance of approved compensation made pursuant to this part 1 subrogates the state, to the extent of the approved amount, to any right or right of action accruing to the applicant.

Section 18 of chapter 177 (SB 24-120), Session Laws of Colorado 2024, provides that the act changing this section applies to approvals for compensation pursuant to the "Colorado Crime Victim Compensation Act" on or after May 15, 2024.
