Section 18-20-106 - Cheating
(1) It is unlawful for any person, whether he is an owner or employee of, or a player in, an establishment, to cheat at any limited gaming activity.
(2) For purposes of article 30 of title 44, "cheating" means to alter the selection of criteria which determine:
(a) The result of a game; or
(b) The amount or frequency of payment in a game.
(3) Any person issued a license pursuant to article 30 of title 44, violating any provision of this section commits a class 6 felony, and any other person violating any provision of this section commits a class 2 misdemeanor. If the person is a repeating gambling offender, the person commits a class 5 felony.

Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.

2021 Ch. 462, was passed without a safety clause. See Colo. Const. art. V, § 1(3).
