Section 12-305-106 - Certification required - exception(1) Except as otherwise provided in this article 305, on and after July 1, 2013, a person shall not practice speech-language pathology or represent or hold himself or herself out as being able to practice speech-language pathology in this state without possessing a valid certification issued by the director in accordance with this article 305 and any rules adopted under this article 305 or a special services license issued by the department of education pursuant to section 22-60.5-210.(2) A person described in section 12-305-110(1) is not required to obtain certification under this article 305.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-43.7-105 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136,§ 1, eff. 10/1/2019.Amended by 2017 Ch. 146,§ 3, eff. 8/9/2017.L. 2012: Entire article added, (HB 12-1303), ch. 263, p. 1363, § 1, effective August 8.
