Section 3.5-804 - Artificial intelligence compliance(a) Beginning July 1, 2025, a unit of State government may not procure or deploy a new system that employs artificial intelligence unless the system complies with the policies and procedures adopted under § 3.5-804 of this subtitle.(b) A unit of State government that employs high-risk artificial intelligence shall conduct regular impact assessments, as determined by the Governor's Artificial Intelligence Subcabinet of the Governor's Executive Council.Added by 2024 Md.
