Section 3-104.2 - [Effective 10/1/2024] Recording a deed with false information(a) A person may not record a deed or other instrument that the person knows contains false information, including information related to the ownership of the property.(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $500.Added by 2024 Md.
