Section 5-201 - Definitions(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.(b) "Dealer's license" means a federal firearms license.(c) "Immediate family member" means a spouse, a parent, a stepparent, a grandparent, a stepgrandparent, an aunt, an uncle, a sibling, a stepsibling, a child, a stepchild, a grandchild, a stepgrandchild, a niece, or a nephew, as related by blood or marriage.(d) "Licensee" means a person who holds a dealer's license.(e) "NICS Index" has the meaning stated in § 5-133.2 of this title.(f) "Rifle" has the meaning stated in § 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.(g) "Short-barreled rifle" has the meaning stated in § 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.(h) "Short-barreled shotgun" has the meaning stated in § 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.(i) "Shotgun" has the meaning stated in § 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.Amended by 2021 Md.
