Section 5-139 - False information or misstatement in application(a) A person may not knowingly give false information or make a material misstatement in a firearm application or in an application for a dealer's license.(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 3 years or a fine not exceeding $5,000 or both.
