Section 4-1005 - Strategic decision support centers(a) In this section, "strategic decision support center" means a facility that is equipped with technology and systems that function as intelligence centers for law enforcement and enable functions including data integration, the study of crime trends, and the development of predictive and technology-based approaches in detecting and investigating criminal activity.(b) For fiscal years 2020 through 2023, each year the Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $100,000 for Baltimore City to be used to support strategic decision support centers in the Eastern District and Western District of Baltimore City.(c) The funds required to be included in the annual budget bill under subsection (b) of this section shall be used solely to supplement, and not supplant, funds otherwise available for strategic decision support centers in the Eastern District and Western District of Baltimore City.Amended by 2021 Md.
