Section 13-213 - Retired officers and enlisted individuals(a) The Governor may adopt regulations that provide for the retirement of officers and enlisted individuals.(b) The Governor may order a retired officer or enlisted individual to active duty.(c)(1) There is a retired list exclusively restricted to retired officers and enlisted individuals of the organized militia.(2) The retired list shall be divided into three groups of retired individuals:(ii) the Maryland Defense Force; and(iii) the Inactive National Guard.
