Section 3-216 - Land Preservation Rapid Response Advisory Committee(a) There is a Land Preservation Rapid Response Advisory Committee.(b) The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to: (1) Review and prioritize Program loan applications for consideration by the Board of Trustees; and(2) Make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on:(i) Which projects to fund, whether in whole or in part; and(ii) The funding to be allocated to each project.(c) The Advisory Committee consists of:(1) A representative of the Department, selected by the Secretary; and(2) The following members, selected by the Board of Trustees:(i) A representative of the Trust that is not a member of the Executive Committee;(ii) A representative of a nonprofit land conservation organization in the State;(iii) A representative of a local parks and recreation department in the State; and(iv) An individual with experience in loan underwriting.Added by 2023 Md.
