Section 21-502 - Application and construction of subtitle(a) This subtitle applies only to: (1) a code county in the Eastern Shore class;(10) Prince George's County;(12) Washington County; and(b) This subtitle is self-executing and does not require a county to enact legislation or, if applicable, to amend its charter to exercise the powers granted under this subtitle.(c) The powers granted under this subtitle: (1) are supplemental to any power granted by another law; and(2) do not limit any other power.(d) This subtitle is necessary for the welfare of the State and its residents and shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes stated in § 21-504(a) of this subtitle.Amended by 2020 Md.
