Section 13-805 - Public docks, piers, and harbor facilities - Dorchester County
(a)
(1) The governing body of Dorchester County may adopt regulations concerning maintaining and operating public docks, piers, wharves, and harbor facilities owned or leased by the county.
(2) A regulation adopted under this subsection may include provisions related to:
(i) permits;
(ii) berths;
(iii) mooring;
(iv) swimming;
(v) trash disposal and removal; and
(vi) sunken vessels.
(b) The governing body of Dorchester County may adopt penalties for a violation of a regulation adopted under this section, including imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or a fine not exceeding $500 or both.
