Section 6-108 - Prosecution of municipal infractions(a) The State's Attorney for a county may: (1) prosecute a municipal infraction; and(2)(i) enter a nolle prosequi; or(ii) place a municipal infraction case on the stet docket.(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, a municipality may designate an attorney to prosecute a municipal infraction in the same manner as the State's Attorney for a county.Revised and recodified by 2013 Md.
