Section 5-211 - Legislative authority - Building regulations(a) A municipality may adopt regulations regarding the erection of buildings and signs in the municipality, including:(2) requirements for building permits.(b) A municipality may provide for the inspection of and require repairs to the following on private property: (1) drainage and sewage systems;(2) electric lines and wires;(4) plumbing apparatus; andRevised and recodified by 2013 Md.
