Section 1-902 - Cooperation in performing governmental functions and acceptance of funds(a) This section applies to all counties except:(5) Prince George's County.(b) The governing body of a county may contract with another governmental entity for the joint or cooperative performance of any governmental function.(c) The governing body of a county may: (1) accept any gift or grant from the federal or State government or any unit of federal or State government; and(2) use the gift or grant for any lawful purpose for which it was received.Amended by 2015 Md.
