Section 9-704 - Board of appeals(a) Notwithstanding § 4-302 of this article, the board of appeals consists of five regular members and one alternate member.(b)(1) The term of a member of the board of appeals is 3 years.(2) The terms of the members of the board of appeals shall be staggered.(3) At the end of a term, a member continues to serve until a successor is appointed and qualifies.(4) A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only for the rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
