Section 8-402 - State Coordinating Council - Membership(a) The Council consists of the following members:(1) the Deputy Director of the Division of Children and Youth of the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services, or the Deputy Director's designee;(2) the Secretary of Juvenile Services, or the Secretary's designee;(3) the Secretary of Health, or the Secretary's designee;(4) the Secretary of Human Services, or the Secretary's designee; and(5) the State Superintendent of Schools, or the Superintendent's designee.(b) The Secretary of Budget and Management, or the Secretary's designee, shall serve as a nonvoting ex officio Council member.(c) The Secretary of Disabilities, or the Secretary's designee, shall serve as a nonvoting ex officio Council member.(d) The Children's Cabinet shall designate up to three individuals to serve on the Council on a rotating basis to represent each of the following stakeholder groups:(1) family members or family advocates; and(2) youth or youth advocates.
