Section 7-107 - Deputy secretary(a) With the approval of the Governor, the Secretary shall appoint a deputy secretary.(b) The deputy secretary shall be an individual with a disability, if the Secretary is not an individual with a disability.(c) The deputy secretary:(1) serves at the pleasure of the Secretary; and(2) is entitled to the compensation provided in the State budget.(d) The deputy secretary has the duties provided by law or delegated by the Secretary.
