(a) The County Executive and County Council may require an audit of the books of the Montgomery Commission.(b) To perform the audit, the County Executive and County Council may choose:(1) an independent certified public accountant licensed by the State; or(2) a firm of certified public accountants licensed by the State.(c) The Montgomery Commission shall pay for the audit out of its operating budget.
