Section 7-404 - False statements or reports(a)(1) A person may not knowingly make or cause to be made a false statement or report in a document that is required to be submitted under this title.(2) A person may not knowingly make or cause to be made a false statement or report to influence the action of the Department in connection with this title.(b) A person who violates this title is subject to civil liability and to a civil penalty not exceeding $1,000,000.
