Section 9-407 - Penalties; fines paid into General Fund(a) A person who violates any provision of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to: (1) A fine not exceeding $1,000 for a first offense; and(2) A fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both for any subsequent violation of the same provision.(b) The Board shall pay any fine collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.
