Section 20-302 - Qualifications(a) To qualify for a certificate as a program administrator, an applicant shall be an individual who meets the requirements of this section.(b) The applicant shall be of good moral character.(c) The applicant shall have completed: (1) A State and national criminal history records check; and(2) Unless waived by the Board under § 20-303(d) of this subtitle, a child protective services background clearance.(d) The applicant shall be at least 21 years old.(e) The applicant shall have:(1)(i) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and(ii) At least 4 years experience in the human service field with at least 3 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or(2)(i) A master's degree from an accredited college or university; and(ii) At least 2 years experience in the human service field with at least 1 year in a supervisory or administrative capacity.(f) Except as otherwise provided in this title, the applicant shall pass an examination given by the Board under this subtitle.Amended by 2015 Md.
