Section 10-208 - Duties of governing boardsThe governing boards of public senior higher education institutions shall, with respect to institutions under their jurisdiction:
(1) Set education policy and adopt mission statements;(2) Establish goals that are consistent with the roles and missions approved for the institutions;(4) Establish guidelines for admission standards that are consistent with the roles and missions approved for the institutions;(5) Set guidelines for tuition and mandatory fees;(6) Evaluate and approve short-range and long-range plans; and(7) Evaluate and approve institutional budget submissions.
