Section 9.5-416 - Prohibited acts(a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, a person may not operate a child care center in this State unless licensed by the Department.(b) An employee of the Department charged with the investigation and enforcement of child care regulations may serve a civil citation to a person found in violation of this section.Amended by 2016 Md.
