Section 10-454 - [Effective until 7/1/2024] Definitions(a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.(b) "Commercialization" means the process of introducing a new product or technology into the market.(c) "Fund" means the Maryland Innovation Initiative Fund established under § 10-457 of this subtitle.(d) "Initiative" means the Maryland Innovation Initiative established under § 10-455 of this subtitle.(e) "Participating members" means the representatives described in § 10-455(b) of this subtitle.(f) "Qualifying university" means a public or private university that meets the requirements set forth under § 10-455(c) of this subtitle.(g) "Technology transfer" means the process of converting scientific and technological advances into marketable goods and services.(h) "University" means a nonprofit, research university located in Maryland.Brought forward without change, 2021 Md.
