Section 11-818 - [Effective 7/1/2025] False claims(a) A person may not assert a false claim under this subtitle.(b) A person who violates this section: (1) is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not less than $500 ; and(2) shall forfeit any benefit received and reimburse the State for payments received or paid on the person's behalf under this subtitle.Amended by 2024 Md.
