Section 11-501 - Definitions(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.(b) "Victim" means a person who suffers direct or threatened physical, emotional, or financial harm as a direct result of a crime or delinquent act.(c) "Victim's representative" includes: (1) a family member of a victim who is a minor, an incompetent, or a victim of homicide; or(2) a guardian of a minor or an incompetent.
